Thanks to its 8W solar panel, there is no need for a grid connection. The built-in 3600 mAh battery helps maintain more stable pump operation even during intermittent cloud cover or poorer light conditions. At the same time, the filtration system helps trap debris, promotes cleaner water, and contributes to a healthier environment for fish, aquatic plants, and beneficial microorganisms.

The package also includes 10 interchangeable nozzles, which you can use to set various water stream shapes and heights according to the look of your pond.

Recommended filter placement depth

For the FA101 solar pond filter to function correctly, we recommend placing it in water with a depth of approximately 10–20 cm at the spot where the filter will stand. The filter box must be fully submerged during operation, while the upper part with the nozzle should protrude several centimeters above the surface.

This placement helps ensure proper water circulation, a stable fountain effect, and smooth water flow through the filtration system. If the pond is deeper, the filter can simply be placed on a stable stone, pedestal, or underwater shelf so that the nozzle is at the correct height.

The manufacturer does not state an exact minimum or maximum depth, so consider the 10–20 cm figure as a recommended indicative depth for general use. The most important thing is that the filter is not operated dry and that the nozzle remains above the surface.

What kind of ponds is this filter suitable for?

The Biling FA101 is ideal for smaller garden ponds and water features with a volume of approximately 100–500 liters.

It is particularly suitable for:
