Clear LCD display

Automatic operation timing
One of the main advantages of the AP221 model is the ability to set automatic alternating operation and pause cycles.
You can choose:

After saving the settings, the aerator automatically turns on and off according to the selected program. Therefore, you do not need to manually control it repeatedly and can adapt its activity to the specific needs of your pond or aquarium.
Aeration time setting
The working interval can be set up to 2 hours according to the manual. The values include, for example:
- 10 seconds,
- 20 seconds,
- 1 minute,
- 5 minutes,

Pause length setting
The pause between individual work cycles can be set up to 24 hours. The values include, for example:

Built-in 2200 mAh battery
The aerator is equipped with a built-in rechargeable 2200 mAh battery. During the day, it uses energy from the solar panel to operate the pump while simultaneously charging the battery. As soon as the amount of sunlight drops, the device can continue to operate from the stored energy.
Thanks to this, the AP221 can aerate water:
- during the day,
- in the evening and at night,
- during cloudy weather,
- during short periods of insufficient sunlight.
Battery life depends primarily on the set power and the chosen time program. At low power, it can operate for up to 36 hours on a fully charged battery.
Built-in electronics provide protection against overcharging and excessive discharging. Charging stops at voltages above 4.25 V and discharging stops if it drops below 3 V.
Independent 3W solar panel
The solar panel is separate from the aeration unit. This allows you to place it in a location with the best access to sunlight, while the pump remains in a safe position near the pond or water container.
We recommend orienting the 3 W, 6 V panel directly toward the sun and positioning it so that it is not covered by trees, plants, buildings, or other objects during the day.
Under good light conditions, charging takes approximately 4 to 5 hours. During cloudy weather, if the panel is angled incorrectly, or in the shade, the charging time may be longer.
The separate design also simplifies installation. Depending on the mount used, the solar panel can be pushed into the ground or attached to a suitable solid surface.
Two air stones
The package includes two air stones that disperse air into the water in the form of fine bubbles.
Two stones allow you to:
- aerate two different places in the pond,
- split the air between two smaller containers,
- ensure a more even distribution of bubbles,
- improve circulation in different parts of the tank.
The supplied regulator or air splitter helps distribute the flow between both outputs and adjust the bubble volume to the specific application.
It is advisable to check and clean the air stones regularly. Deposits and dirt can reduce permeability and overall aeration performance over time.

IP65 protection
The aeration unit has an IP65 protection rating. It is thus protected against dust and against water jets.
This allows for general outdoor use, and the device can handle rain or splashing water. However, the pump is not intended for submersion or permanent exposure to standing water.
Therefore, always place the aeration unit:
- out of the water,
- in a stable and dry place,
- above the water level,
- so that it cannot be flooded.
If the pump cannot be placed above the water level, we recommend using suitable check valves. These help prevent water from flowing back through the hose when the device is turned off.
Simple operation
Using the aerator does not require professional installation or connection to the mains.
Basic installation procedure
- Place the solar panel in a sunny spot.
- Point it towards the sun.
- Place the aeration unit in a dry and safe location above the water level.
- Connect the hoses to the pump outputs.
- Attach the air stones to the other ends of the hoses.
- Place the stones into the water.
- Press and hold the power button for approximately 1.5 seconds.
- Select low, medium, or high power.
- Choose continuous or interval operation.
- In case of interval mode, set the operation and pause times.
Short presses of the plus and minus buttons change the values gradually. Long presses allow you to scroll through the values faster.
Charging and battery status indication
When charging from the solar panel, the battery indicator fills up gradually. When the battery is almost empty, the last segment of the indicator starts to blink.
Thanks to the clear indicator, you can easily tell if the device is charging correctly and how much energy is approximately remaining.
To achieve the best results, we recommend fully charging the battery in direct sunlight before the first long-term use.
Safe low-voltage operation
The aerator operates on a low voltage of 3.7 V, and the solar panel provides 6 V. The device is equipped with intelligent charge management, voltage and current stabilization, and battery protection.

For the best performance, place the solar panel in a location that receives direct sunlight for as much of the day as possible.
Regularly check:

- safe placement of the pump above water level.
Dust, leaves, or other dirt on the panel can reduce charging efficiency. Clean the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth without using aggressive chemical agents.
Air stones can be cleaned when clogged or replaced with new compatible stones.
