A robot for which children can plan their own adventures
The Ruko 6088 can walk, slide across the floor, sing, and dance. Children can control it directly or assemble their own sequence of actions and watch as the robot executes their program. A glowing face with changing expressions complements its movements and music.
Four control methods
Choose your playing style according to your mood:
- Remote control allows you to steer movement and trigger functions without a phone.
- Ruko Romo app offers control, programming, and educational activities.
- Tilting the phone changes the direction of movement in the app's gravity mode.
- Hand gestures in front of the robot's sensor allow you to control movement via infrared sensing.
First steps to programming
In the app, children can assemble a sequence of up to 200 commands and combine movements, music, and facial expressions. The remote control allows you to program a sequence of up to 50 actions.
Children select individual steps, change their order, and observe the result. Through play, they learn how commands and subsequent actions are related.
Discovering nature, Earth, and space
The Ruko Romo app complements playtime with educational activities and quizzes focused on nature, Earth, and planets. Each round features ten questions that children can go through together with their parents.
The app is available for Android and iPhone. Its interface is in English.
Dance, music, and light expressions
Start the music, a dance routine, or a demo mode and watch the robot in action. Volume can be adjusted using the remote control. Nine dynamic facial light expressions add another fun element to playtime.
Educational activities even without a connected robot
You can also use the educational content about Earth and the planets, as well as the ten-question quizzes, in the Ruko Romo app without a connected robot. A Bluetooth connection is required to control its movements and play back your own programs.
Rechargeable battery and easy charging
The built-in battery offers approximately two hours of playtime depending on the functions used. Charging with the included USB cable takes about 2–3 hours. The manufacturer recommends a 5 V / 2 A USB adapter, which is not included in the package. Charge the robot while it is turned off; it cannot be used while charging.
The remote control requires two AAA 1.5 V batteries, which must be purchased separately.
Rechargeable battery for repeated play
The built-in battery is recharged via the included USB cable and offers up to 120 minutes of playtime depending on the functions used. The robot moves on flat floors and does not require assembly.
The Ruko 6088 is recommended for children aged 3 to 6. There is a choice of blue or pink variants.
